In many cases the insurance company will not insure electronic equipment that was damaged by a transient voltage surge. The insurance companies will normally cover only property that was damaged do to a direct lightning strike. Transient voltage surges are common on power lines and communication lines even when lightning is not present. Lightning Specialists can provide you with the Following:
Lightning Specialist will provide a complete lightning protection system as shown on supplied drawings and as specified. The system shall be installed to meet the Installation Requirements for the National Fire Protection Association's Lightning Protection Code, NFPA 780. We are a UL Listed Installer of Master Label Lightning Protection Systems and a member of the Lightning Protection Institute. If requested we can provide a Lightning Protection System that is Certified by Underwriters Laboratories and or the Lightning Protection Institute.
